The Woven Arts is dedicated to a sustainable life and living. We constantly strive to improve our environment by producing only handmade products.
We produce high quality products, which are designed to stand the test of time. The long Lifecyle of our products means reduced waste.
At The Woven Arts we understand the importance of global warming and therefore understand and give importance to renewable materials. Wool forms the major component of our product, which is naturally renewable and sustainable material.
We aim to use distribution methods for our products that are environmentally friendly, re using packaging as much as we can. We also encourage the return and reuse of samples provided for the product selection process to reduce the impact of sample production.
MATERIALS
Our rugs are made from completely natural fibres, including wool, bamboo, jute, cotton, silk, viscose and hemp.
HANDMADE
Every single process that goes into making each rug is achieved entirely by hand, from dyeing, yarn unravelling, weaving, shearing, washing, binding and finally packing.
QUALITY, DURABILITY & LONGEVITY
Individual craftsmanship is really at the heart of this process, whereby our passionate artisans work on the rug from start to finish, weaving your story into A piece of Art.
